The department is one of the first established in our university. In the 2021-2022 academic year, in connection with the creation of a new theological faculty, the Department of Religious Studies was again established.
The Department of "Religious Studies" conducts the subject of "Yasawi Studies" in all educational programs. In addition, specialists are being trained in the educational programs 6B02228 - Religious Studies, 7M02211-Religious Studies. Currently, 13 teaching staff work at the department, including 1 Doctor of Sciences, 1 professor, 2 Candidates of Sciences, 4 PhD, 4 Senior teachers, 1 Master. Teachers of the department attend advanced training courses in order to improve pedagogical skills in each academic year.
The total number of employed teaching staff in individual blocks of disciplines in the curricula of the specialty is 13, including 1 Doctor of sciences, 1 professor, 2 candidates of sciences, 4 PhD doctors, 4 Senior teachers, 1 master teacher.
Teachers of the department are constantly engaged in their professional development work. The main forms of professional development are: courses, seminars, trainings.
The interest of teachers in improving their qualifications is directly related to the main goal of the department's work - a high scientific, theoretical and methodological level of education, the training of highly qualified creative specialists. Therefore, the department pays great attention to educational and methodological work, the purpose of which is to continuously improve the quality of the educational process, the introduction of new learning technologies, the organization of monitoring the quality of methodological support.
Every year, the necessary textbooks, syllabuses, teaching and methodological complexes, methodological guidelines, lecture courses in Kazakh, Russian, English and Turkish are prepared in the educational process.
