History and General Information

The department is considered one of the first created at our university. Since the academic year 2014-2015, the department was named "Social Sciences". In the academic year 2021-2022, it was part of the Social Sciences Faculty. In 2022-2023, the head of the "Social Sciences" department was candidate of philosophical sciences, acting associate professor Shadinova Gulzira Abilasanovna. In 2023-2024, the department was incorporated into the Faculty of Theology. Felsefe Bölümü 6B02286 - Felsefe-Din Bilimleri, 6B03187 - Psikoloji-Din Bilimleri, 6B03190 - Sosyoloji-Din Bilimleri eğitim programları konusunda uzman yetiştirmektedir. By the decision of the Senate meeting held on October 10, 2023-2024 academic year (protocol No. 2), the department's name was changed to "Philosophy". Since September 1, 2023, the head of the department has been PhD, senior lecturer Isaev Mukhtar Seikhanuly.
