At Atyrau University named after Khalel Dosmukhamedov, a traditional subject Olympiad was held in the field of training "6B032-Journalism and information".
This time, the educational competition was organized in an online format in accordance with quarantine requirements. Participating future journalists from 13 higher educational institutions of the country had the opportunity to get to know each other and exchange experience through the ZOOM platform.
On the first day of the two-day competition, students presented their presentations in the form of a video, demonstrating their journalistic skills. During the introduction, each team defended its name, slogan, emblem and showed video clips shot on the lines of the President of the country Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's article "Independence is more expensive than everything". In the videos, the ideas and main directions mentioned in the article of the head of the country Kassym-Jomart Kemeluly were reflected.

Kazakistan Gazeteciler Birliği Türkistan bölge şubesi başkanı, bölgesel maslikhat yardımcısı Galymzhan Elshibai Kozha, yetenekli gazeteci Beisen Kuranbek'in adını taşıyan bursu Khutsk Teknik Üniversitesi Gazetecilik Bölümü'nde okuyan en iyi üç öğrenciye ciddiyetle devretti. Etkinliğe Hoca Ahmet Yesevi Uluslararası Teknik Üniversitesi Rektörü Zhanar Temirbekova, ülkemizin tanınmış televizyon gazetecisi Abdez Rakhmanuly ile bir grup bölgesel meslikhat milletvekili ve medya temsilcisi katıldı.

Etkinlikte konuşan eğitim kurumu başkanı Zhanar Amangeldyovna, seçkin öğrencilere destek veren ve ilham veren sendika başkanına içten şükranlarını dile getirdi. Gelecekte bölgesel Gazeteciler Birliği ile işbirliği içinde çalışmakla ilgilendiğini de söyledi.

Kazakistan Gazeteciler Birliği Türkistan Bölge Şubesi Başkanı ve bölgesel meslikhat milletvekili Galymzhan Elshibai ise merhum Beisen Kuranbek hakkında kapsamlı bir konuşma yaparak onun Kazak gazeteciliğine büyük katkılarından bahsetti.

Beisen, kariyerine cumhuriyetçi "Sport" gazetesinde başlayan ve tüm aşamalardan geçen çok deneyimli bir gazeteciydi. Kazak gazeteciliğine katkısı çok büyüktür. Ülkede yalnızca "Söylemesi Kolay" ve "Karaket" gibi talk şovlar popülerlik kazandı. Ancak Beisen'in hayatı çok kısaydı. Tanrı'nın yargısının bir çözümü var mı? In the afternoon, the students wrote essays on the topics "30 years of stable independence", "Kazakhstan's perfect future", "Independence is more precious than everything", showing journalistic skills. The content of the essay includes historical figures, the achievements of the country during the years of independence, the history of Great Steppe, the role of youth in society, etc. issues are covered. In this test, the student's ability to open up the given topic, his own thinking and attitude were tested. Special attention was paid to young people's ability to express their thoughts, use of quotations, consistency of language, preservation of style, literacy of the text. Essays were evaluated in the form of an anti-plagiarism check, an examination of the opening of the topic, and a determination of literacy and writing skills.

The second stage of the Subject Olympiad began with tests on the four basic subjects and continued with the experience of publishing a newspaper. the existence of materials covering topics of etc. was taken into account.

As a result, the team of the 6B032-Journalism educational program under the leadership of professor Bekzhigit Serdali, consisting of 3rd-year student Akbota Yergeshbay, 2nd-year students Sandugash Bekturova, Nazerke Imashova, won the 1st place in the subject Olympiad with the participation of 13 higher educational institutions, and next year the educational competition will be held in Turkestan - Khoja. Won the Variable Cup, which gives the right to hold it on the basis of the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Ahmet Yasawi.
