Public health and scientific research

The Department of Preventive Medicine was opened in the 2013-2014 academic year. From the day of opening until September 2024, the department was headed by Doctor of Medical Sciences Kuandykova Ainash Kenesbayevna. In the 2024-2025 academic year, due to structural changes at the Faculty of Medicine, the department was renamed from the Department of Preventive Medicine to the Department of Public Health and Scientific Research. The head of the department was appointed PhD, senior lecturer Omarova Balnur Adilbekovna. 
    In the 2024-2025 academic year, the Department of Public Health and Scientific Research employs 2 doctors of Sciences, 5 candidates of Sciences, 3 PhD, 1 senior lecturer, 3 master-teachers.
