In 1992, the department was founded as a clinical department, later renamed the department of therapy. Since the 2013-2014 academic year, the name of the department has been changed to “Propaedeutics and Internal Medicine” in accordance with the name of the disciplines conducted by the decision of the Senate.

The main goal of the faculty is to train highly qualified competitive specialists in the field of medicine, deepen and develop theoretical knowledge and practical skills, starting with the basics of clinical skills and therapeutically oriented subjects.
