Аchievements of the department

Since the opening of the department, 2 doctoral, 9 PhD, 7 master's theses have been defended. Currently, educational, educational, scientific and medical work is carried out by employees with extensive practical experience working in the field of science and healthcare. The teaching staff plans and achieves the final learning outcomes using effective teaching and assessment methods in the direction of competence in lectures and practical classes, increases students' interest in the subject and profession. The staff of the department develops training programs within the framework of competence, uses teaching methods (explanatory, research and interventional) and assessment (knowledge, skills and communication/activities) in the educational process.
Educational and methodological complexes on the subjects taught, as well as intermediate control, examination questions, tests are discussed at a meeting of the department, their quality is checked and constantly updated.
In addition to professional development of future doctors, innovative new teaching and evaluation methods are used in theoretical and practical lectures in order to develop and form attitudes towards physical examination of patients, diagnosis of internal diseases, etiopathogenesis and diagnosis. The staff of the department participates in scientific conferences in the country and the CIS countries, makes presentations and exchanges experience.
The staff of the department, together with scientists from the country and near and far abroad, carry out research work. In 2012, the teaching staff of the department received a state grant from the Republic of Kazakhstan for the scientific project "dissemination of manifestations of neuropathy in patients with metabolic syndrome", and this work was funded by the state in the amount of 15,000,000 tenge.
During the activities of the teaching staff of the department, educational materials and teaching aids are published, methodological seminars and round tables are organized for continuous professional development.
On October 25, on the Day of the Republic, the master, senior lecturer of the department, Turekhanova Ayimkhan Abilkhanovna, was awarded the title of honorary citizen of the city of Kentau.
