International Symposium Held: “Philosophy of the Great Steppe and Legal Culture”
As part of the international symposium at Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University, the seminar “From the Heritage of the Great Steppe to New Principles of Statehood” was successfully organized.
During the event, representatives of courts, the prosecutor’s office, and law enforcement agencies discussed the foundations of modern statehood, legal values, and pressing issues under new threats.
At the meeting, University Rector Zhanar Temirbekova highlighted the scientific and organizational significance of the international symposium and expressed gratitude to foreign scholars and honored guests.

Chairman of the Turkestan Regional Court, Aidos Sultanov:
“This event, held on the eve of Human Rights Day, has enhanced its value. The principles of prudence, justice, responsibility, and care in the philosophy of the Great Steppe correspond to the development directions of the current judicial system,” he noted. He also highlighted trends in judicial development using digital technologies and new legal norms.
Prosecutor of Turkestan Region, Murat Tleuberdiev:
“Such dialogue platforms, bringing together experts in law, history, language, and religion, are of great significance at the state level,” he said.
During the meeting, Rector Zhanar Temirbekova received a letter of appreciation from the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Berik Asylov, for contributions to the I International Forum, attended by representatives of the prosecution offices of participating states.
Current Security Issues
During the seminar:
• Major General Bolat Kalmirzaev, Head of the NSK Department of Turkestan Region,
• Erbolat Balgabayev, Head of the Economic Investigation Department of Turkestan Region, highlighted new security risks, trends in economic crimes, and the importance of regional legal security.
Results of Scientific Debates
Participants discussed:
• historical roots of constitutional values,
• evolution of criminal legislation,
• pressing issues of regional legal security.
The discussion clearly demonstrated the connection between the philosophy of steppe law and current legal reforms.
