•    Ability to formulate a clinical diagnosis, develop a treatment plan, and evaluate its effectiveness at all levels of medical care based on evidence-based practice.
•    Ability to effectively communicate with patients, their relatives, and healthcare professionals to achieve the best outcomes for the patient.
•    Ability to assess risks and apply the most effective methods to ensure high safety standards and quality of medical care.
•    Ability to act within the legal and organizational framework of the healthcare system of the Republic of Kazakhstan, provide basic assistance in emergencies, and work within a professional team to implement national health policies.
•    Ability to formulate appropriate research questions, critically evaluate professional literature, effectively use international databases in daily practice, and participate in research team activities.
•    Ability to independently learn and teach, participate in discussions, conferences, and other forms of continuous professional development alongside other members of the professional team.

 

1.    Candidates who have completed higher education and internship programs are eligible for residency.
2.    Admission is conducted using funds from the republican or local budget through state educational orders, as well as through the student’s own funds or other sources.
3.    Admission is based on a competitive process according to entrance examination results; the procedure is established and conducted independently by the educational institution.
4.    Submission of applications is conducted by the admissions committees and/or via the information system from July 3–25. Admission concludes by August 28 of the calendar year.
5.    Educational institutions, in accordance with Article 43-1, paragraph 2, subparagraph 6 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Education” dated July 27, 2007, determine the minimum passing score (at least 75), considering the admission procedure, format, exam program, and features of preparatory specialties.
6.    Only persons with a document certifying the qualification “Doctor” are admitted.
7.    Admission of foreign citizens is conducted on a paid basis according to the exam program approved by the head of the admissions committee.
