About Us

The Faculty of Sports and Arts was founded in 2001 and is one of the faculties that contribute to increasing the prestige of the university through sports and art. Currently, the faculty consists of 4 departments, 13 educational programs that meet modern requirements.

Since the first years of its existence, the Faculty of Sports and Arts has been distinguished by a very high level of teaching staff. Currently, 85 highly qualified teaching staff work at the faculty. Among them are Honored coaches of the Republic of Kazakhstan, cultural and sports figures of the Republic of Kazakhstan, experienced professors and teachers. Graduates of the Faculty of Sports and Arts successfully work in their specialties in different parts of the world and the country. Our students participated and successfully performed at the Olympic Games, World and Asian Championships. In particular: bronze medalist of the London Olympics in freestyle wrestling Akzhurek Tanatarov, winners of the 2018 Asian Games Didar Hamza, Baghlan Ibragimov, etc.. In the field of art, our famous graduates are: actor of the Kazakh Film Studio Nuran Nurymbet, singer-composer Altynai Zhorabayeva, Nurzhan Kalzhan, director of the Aldaraspan Theater Nurzhan Tulendiev and many other specialists.

Today, the Faculty of Sports and Arts is the largest scientific and educational center of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the training of highly qualified specialists in the field of sports and cultural education. All conditions have been created for students, specially equipped interactive lecture halls, library, Internet classes, sports complexes, student canteen, dormitories.
