Achievements

Department Achievements:

• In 2016, E. Omirbayev delivered lectures on the topic "Mevlana" for two weeks at Jumhuriyet University in Sivas.
• From May 31, 2022, to June 30, 2022, E. Zhiyenbayev visited Haji Bayram Veli Ankara University in the Republic of Turkey to enhance his qualifications and teach at the university. 
   

From July 1, 2022, to August 1, 2022, E. Zhiyenbayev lectured at the Department of Turkish Language and Social Sciences at Gazi University.

From November 14, 2022, to November 19, 2022, the dean of the Philology Faculty, Mr. Abdulqadir Ozturk, conducted a seminar at the Turkology department of the University of Zagreb in the Republic of Croatia as part of the "Erasmus" program.

From May 15, 2023, to May 31, 2023, E. Zhiyenbayev underwent training at the Scientific Research Institute of the Turkic World at Aegean University under the "Orkhun" program.

From November 15, 2023, to November 16, 2023, professors from Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature named after Alisher Navoi conducted a lecture-seminar at the Department of Turkish Philology, Faculty of Philology.

In connection with the 850th anniversary of the birth of Ahmed Yassawi in 2015, the university rector awarded E. Omirbayev with a breastplate.

"Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages named after Abai Khan" - During the academic year 2021-2022, on February 21-22, Berdaly Gulmaira, a 3rd-year student, took third place in the Republican Olympiad among students in the specialty "Foreign Languages." Supervisor - Mametova Dilfuza.

By the decision of the Republican Commission for the Training of Personnel Abroad on December 20, 2023, within the international "Bolashak" program, Associate Professor, Doctor of Philosophy of the Department of Turkish Philology, Faculty of Philology, Ahmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University, Erlan Zhiyenbayev, was sent to the University of Reading in the United Kingdom in the direction of "Management in Education.
