A New Impulse in Criminalistics: The Intersection of Experience and Knowledge

Where experience and theory come together, a true professional school is formed. Within this framework, at the special invitation of the Faculty of Law of Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University, Lieutenant Colonel of Police Darkhan Ziyayev, Head of the Emergency Response Department of the Turkestan Regional Police Department, visited our faculty. During the visit, students were introduced to modern equipment used in the training of specialists in criminalistics and forensic studies.

During the meeting, the distinguished guest shared valuable recommendations on modernizing criminal law education, improving the educational and practical infrastructure, and integrating it with the real practice of law enforcement agencies. It was emphasized that practice-oriented professional advice plays a crucial role in developing the skills students need for their future careers.

In addition, concrete plans were outlined for the upcoming period to regularly organize joint training sessions, skill-based workshops, and practical exercises between the Turkestan Regional Police Department and the Faculty of Law of Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University. Such cooperation connects the educational environment with real-life demands and enables students “not only to read, but to learn, observe, and act.”

In this direction, the Faculty of Law of Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University consistently combines theory and practice, systematically strengthening the training of qualified criminalistics specialists.
