The mission: training of specially and professionally competent, educated, qualified and competitive specialists in the field of art and education.

The strategic goal of the Department of Performing Arts is to contribute to the sustainable development of the art industry by training performers and art specialists who are competitive in the national and world cultural space, have high professional training, and great creative potential. The main direction of the department is the deepening of the professional skills of artists, the introduction of innovative educational technologies, the coordination of traditional and modern performing areas, as well as the improvement of the scientific and methodological base.

The department implements strategic goals in the following areas:

• formation of modern educational programs that develop performing skills;

• preservation of national art and promotion of multifaceted cultural values;

• support of creative searches of students, research works;

• expanding partnerships internationally and developing academic mobility;

• introduction of new innovative methods in art pedagogy and performing practice;
