Department Achievements

In the 2023-2024 academic year, candidates of science, doctors, and professors from Kazakhstan, Karakalpakstan, Uzbekistan, and Turkey came to give lectures to students on the modern technological development of the dental field. Furthermore, we plan to collaborate with them in the future.

Specialists from both near and far abroad not only improve their theoretical knowledge in the areas of implantology, orthodontics, surgical dentistry, and pediatric dentistry but also present them in the form of masterclasses and conduct large-scale therapeutic events. A master of the department, Sh.A. Abdulkadyrov, completed professional development from November 7, 2019, to August 8, 2020, at Gazi University in Ankara.

Achievements of Our Students

Our department’s students have participated in exchange programs in Turkey. They attend various conferences, educational competitions, and masterclasses held in both foreign and nearby countries, as well as in different regions of Kazakhstan, and have been awarded prizes and certificates of appreciation.

With the aim of promoting a healthy lifestyle, various events such as "Guaranteeing Healthy Teeth" and "Dental Care" were organized for schoolchildren. Students actively participated in these events and in educating schoolchildren about oral hygiene. In the 2022-2023 academic year, with the support of the university's leadership, large-scale events were organized as part of social responsibility projects, including "Smiling Faces!" and "Genuine Smiles!" Faculty members of the department took part in these activities, with students from the 4th and 5th years being actively involved.

Moreover, at the International Olympiad of Dental University Students, the "Central Asia Dental Forum & Olympiad," held from May 6 to 10, 2024, at the Tashkent State Institute of Dentistry in the Republic of Uzbekistan, 4th-year students Imran Adzhiev and Zhankerke Eskaraeva earned 1st and 2nd places, respectively.
