Purpose:
The main goal of the Department of" surgical and pediatric dentistry " is to train highly qualified specialists – dentists who meet modern requirements, have developed professional competencies, have developed theoretical knowledge and practical skills, have research skills, and can meet the needs of society and patients.
Responsibilities:
- High-quality acquisition by students of theoretical and clinical knowledge in accordance with the educational program in the specialty "Dentistry;
- Organization of practical training in the field of surgical Dentistry, Pediatric Dentistry, orthodontics, implantology and maxillofacial surgery in Phantom offices and clinical bases;
- Widespread use of modern simulation equipment, innovative teaching technologies and interactive methods in the educational process;
- Development of educational and methodological complexes and continuous updating to improve the quality of Education;
- Development of research work, involvement of students and teachers in Scientific Research, increasing the scientific potential of the department by publishing scientific articles and reports;
- Formation of professional ethics, patriotic spirit and responsibility of students through educational work;
- Improving the quality of the Department's activities through the use of opportunities for professional development of teachers of the department, continuing education and international exchange of experience.
