❇️ Our university hosted the international conference on 'Development Prospects of Children's Maxillofacial Surgery in the Republic of Kazakhstan.' This significant event was organized by our university and the Turkistan City Children's Hospital under the 'Roadmap' project of the Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan.

❇️ Leading specialists from Kazakhstan, Russia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan were specially invited to participate in the event.

❇️ Children's maxillofacial surgery is one of the fastest-growing and most in-demand fields in modern medicine. It plays an important role in correcting congenital and acquired pathologies. Modern technologies such as 3D modeling, robotic surgery, and regenerative medicine not only enhance the accuracy of diagnoses but also reduce the complexity of surgeries and shorten the rehabilitation period.

❇️ However, the implementation of innovative methods requires highly qualified specialists, continuous professional development, and experience exchange between surgeons, orthodontists, pediatricians, neurologists, and rehabilitation specialists. Therefore, this conference aims to become a unique educational platform that unites leading Kazakhstani and foreign experts in the field of children's maxillofacial surgery.

The opening speech was made by the Vice-Rector for Science and Strategic Development, Ayanaş Oşibayeva, who spoke about the significance of the conference in the medical field.

❇️ She also provided information about our university's potential and clinical base in this area and wished success for the conference.

❇️ Next, doctors and professors delivered presentations on topics such as the current status of children's maxillofacial surgery in Kazakhstan, features and challenges of resident training programs for pediatric maxillofacial surgeons in Kazakhstan, and the surgical treatment of disorders of the upper jaw cavity in adolescents, as well as other important topics.
