Gani Utepbayevich Japishov, a 2008 graduate of journalism, was appointed head of the Information and Communications Department of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Congratulations!

Gani Utepbayuly was born on February 13, 1986 in Aktobe.

He graduated from the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Khoja Ahmed Yasawi (Turkestan) with a degree in journalism, as well as the Bolashak Academy (Karaganda) with a degree in law.

He graduated from the New York Film Academy (NYFA, New York, USA) with a degree in broadcast Journalism, and is a recipient of the Bolashak Presidential Scholarship.

Work experience in the field of journalism is more than 15 years. He worked on the TV channels "Khabar" and "Qazaqstan".

He headed the press service of the akim of Aktobe region.

He was the director of the Aktobe regional branch of RTRK Kazakhstan JSC.

His last position was Advisor to the Central Communications Service under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
