It should be recalled that the University was established in 1991 as the Turkestan State University named after Khoja Ahmed Yasawi, and on October 31, 1992, an agreement was signed between the governments of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Turkey "on the reorganization into the International Kazakh-Turkish university named after Khoja Ahmed Yasawi" in Ankara. That is, on October 31, 1992, our university was granted international status.
