From May 13 to 16, 2025, Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University will undergo an external certification audit of its quality management system in accordance with the ISO 9001:2015 international standard.

The audit will be conducted by the Turkish Standards Institution (TSE, Ankara) — an officially accredited body within the IQNet global certification network.

Audit Objective

The main goal of the audit is to evaluate the maturity and effectiveness of the university’s quality management system, confirm compliance with the ISO 9001:2015 standard, and identify areas for further sustainable development. The audit will also support the renewal of the current quality certificate and assess the performance of all major structural units of the university.

Over the course of four days, auditors will conduct site visits, interviews, and documentation reviews across various departments, including the Rectorate, faculties, the college, research institutes, administrative and support units, the library, archives, technical services, logistics, procurement, and more.

The audit will be conducted in person and will encompass essential processes from strategic planning to documentation management. Special attention will be paid to quality assurance mechanisms, feedback systems, risk management, internal auditing, transparency, and compliance with internal and external requirements.

This audit is not just a formal procedure — it represents an open dialogue with international experts, recognition of achievements, and a valuable opportunity to demonstrate how the university integrates quality principles into its academic, administrative, and scientific operations.
