History and General Information

The Department of Physics is the structure of our university that prepares professionals, masters of their work, who are competitive, comprehensive, highly developed creative thinking skills, who are able to apply their theoretical knowledge in practice, and who are competitive, comprehensive, creative thinking ability, in accordance with the requirements of the 21st century. The purpose of the department is to create conditions for the active learning of educated students that meet the level of international standards and respond to the demands of the modern labor market, and to organize the educational process on a productive and qualitative basis. The foundation of the "Physics" department was laid on March 1, 2004. The percentage of scientific degrees of the department is 68.4%. Starting from 2020, senior teacher B.Zh. Seitov, PhD, was appointed as the head of the department.

The total number of staff units of teachers-professors employed (with employment contracts) in the basic and professional subjects of the curricula of educational programs is 19. Among them, 1st doctors of science, professors, 6th candidates of science in the fields of physics and mathematics. associate professors, 6 - Ph.D., 6 - master. Compulsory courses of these educational programs are conducted by experienced, highly qualified teachers of the department, and topics of elective courses are selected based on the latest achievements of modern education, physical science and technology, based on the recommendations of the employer. There are block tasks, test and exam tickets discussed and approved at the department meeting for compulsory and optional subjects, the quality and organization of test questions and SAT and SAT are given due attention.
