“HONESTY IS A FUNDAMENTAL VALUE OF SOCIETY”
An awareness session entitled “Honesty Is a Fundamental Value of Society” was organized for students of groups TDT-611 and TDT-411 by Balaiym Tilekeeva, a master’s-level lecturer at the Department of Religious Studies, Faculty of Theology.
Opening the session, Balaiym Tilekeeva highlighted the importance of honesty in human life and its role in personal development and building mutual trust within society. She also encouraged students to reflect on how honesty and justice are demonstrated in everyday life and to express their thoughts freely.
The session continued with active student participation. Students answered questions related to honesty, justice, morality, and responsibility, and shared their views. Various educational games were organized to explore the topic in an engaging and meaningful way, with students enthusiastically taking part in the activities.
During the games and question-and-answer activities, students demonstrated their knowledge and resourcefulness, relating the concept of honesty to real-life situations. The most active students who achieved outstanding results were identified, and special gifts were presented to the winners.
Combining open discussion, active participation, and educational games, the session helped broaden students’ understanding of honesty as a core value. The event emphasized that honesty is an essential human virtue reflected in a person’s words and actions, choices, and sense of responsibility.
