On September 1, 2026, an introductory meeting was held at the Faculty of Theology for first-year students.

The event opened with a welcoming address by Sultanmurat Abzhalov, Dean of the Faculty of Theology. The Dean provided students with comprehensive information about the structure and administration of the Faculty, its departments, educational programs, the specifics of the academic process, and opportunities for personal and professional development.

Professor Ali Rıza Gül of the Faculty of Theology spoke about the importance of university education culture and academic responsibility. Doctor of Theology and Philosophy, Professor Dosai Kenzhetay Tursynbaiuly, shared his views on the role of knowledge and worldview in shaping an individual and encouraged young people to engage in scientific research. Baurzhan Saifunov, Director of the Yasawi Research Institute and PhD in Philosophy, emphasized the importance of integrating scientific pursuits with spiritual values.

The event concluded with an introduction to the academic advisers and continued with an экскурсия of the university infrastructure.
