Events

On 9 December 2025, at 10:30, an open educational hour titled “Independence - My Foundation” was held in Building No. 3, Room 234. The event was organized by the GPP-411 group of the Psychology (IP) educational program of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, Faculty of Education and Humanities, Khoja Ahmed Yasawi International Kazakh-Turkish University. Distinguished guests invited to the event included prominent participants of the December events and respected scholars: Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Zabirash Adilbekova; Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Maria Jazdykbayeva; and Candidate of Philological Sciences, Professor, renowned journalist, scholar, and composer Serdaly Bekzhigit Kenzhebekuly. Additionally, the event was attended by Vice Deans for Academic and Educational Affairs of the Faculty of Education and Humanities, Beimbet Alipbay and Nazira Tursynbayeva; the Head of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, PhD, Senior Lecturer A.B. Tasova; faculty members; and students of groups GPP-411 and GPP-511.  The session opened with the performance of Y. Khasangaliev’s song “Atameken,” aimed at uplifting national spirit. Following the presenters’ heartfelt introduction about the December events, a video dedicated to those events was shown, after which students shared their impressions and reflections.

Next, the invited guests were given the floor. Their profound and sincere recollections of the December events, conveyed with truth and emotion, moved the students deeply. These touching accounts awakened a sense of patriotism and inspired boundless respect and gratitude toward the victims of the December events and all who lived through those days.

At the end of the event, all participants collectively performed Bekzhigit’s song “Rizamyn,” expressing their sincere appreciation and gratitude to the guests.

The open educational session was conducted at a high level.
