The teaching staff of the Department of Preschool and Primary Education of the Faculty of Education and Humanities at Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University carries out career guidance activities.

Career guidance is a comprehensive pedagogical and social process aimed at helping students consciously choose their future profession. This process is focused on aligning an individual’s abilities and interests with the demands of the labor market.

Within the framework of this work, career guidance meetings were held with 10–11 grade students of general education schools. During the meetings, applicants were provided with comprehensive scientific and educational information about the university. In particular, the content of educational programs, academic opportunities, international cooperation, and features of student life were systematically presented. In addition, the information was visually supported with specially prepared video materials.

As an important component of career guidance, the content and features of the educational programs “Preschool Education and Upbringing” and “Pedagogy and Methods of Primary Education” were analyzed from a scientific perspective. Clear and well-founded information was provided regarding the professional significance of these programs, their role in training teaching staff, and their demand in the modern labor market.
