Mission of the Department

To prepare professionally competent and competitive teachers in the fields of preschool and primary education who meet labour market demands and contemporary educational requirements; to ensure high-quality education at the bachelor's and master's degree levels, develop students' professional knowledge and practical skills, and continuously improve the quality of teacher preparation.

Main Objectives of the Department

1. Development and Improvement of Educational Programmes. To design, update, and continuously improve educational programmes in preschool and primary education in accordance with labour market requirements.
2. Provision of Qualified Academic Staff. To engage highly qualified academic staff with extensive teaching, research, and practical experience in the educational process and create opportunities for their continuing professional development.
3. Enhancement of Teaching Quality and Integration of Innovative Technologies. To continuously improve the quality of teaching and learning through the effective application of interactive teaching methods, modern pedagogical approaches, and digital technologies.
4. Development of Teaching and Learning Resources. To design, update, and integrate modern teaching materials, methodological resources, digital educational resources, and instructional tools in accordance with educational programme requirements.
5. Improvement of Professional Practice and Practice-Oriented Education. To organise effective teaching practice, strengthen the dual education system, enhance cooperation with educational institutions, and integrate theoretical knowledge with practical teaching experience.
6. Development of Individual Educational Pathways. To create opportunities for bachelor's and master's degree students to develop individual educational pathways that reflect their professional interests and learning needs, while expanding opportunities for research and professional development.
