History and General Information

The Department of Therapy of the Faculty of Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University was established in 1992 on the basis of the Central City Hospital of Kentau. 

The Department of Internal Medicine was founded in 1992 on the basis of the Central City Hospital of Kentau. The first head of the department was Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Shalkharov Sailaubek Shalkarovich. From 1993 to 2004, the department was headed by Candidate of Medical Sciences, Professor of MKTU Kalimurzina Balkhia Sagatovna.

From 2009 to 2022, the head of the Department of Therapy was PhD, Tsyganova Gulnara Zhaugashtina.

Since February 2022, the head of the Department of Internal Diseases has been appointed Candidate of Medical Sciences, Amanbayeva Bakhyt Kalbergenovna.
