History and General Information

In 2009, in connection with the transformation of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, the medical faculty of the Academy became part of the Khoja Ahmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University. The department was opened under the name "Morphological disciplines" and is still called "General Medical Practice No. 2". In the same year, the Faculty of Medicine was renamed the Faculty of General Medicine. 

Head of the Department of General Medical Practice No. 2, MD, Associate Professor Asatai Daurekhanov. Since September 1, 2009, Asatai Daurekhanov has been the head of the department.
