History and General Information

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology was established in 2009 at the educational and clinical base of the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Khoja Ahmed Yasawi in Shymkent. The first head of the department is associate professor Daniyarova A. Zh., from 2012 to the present, the head of the department is associate professor Begimbekova Lyazzat Myktybekovna.

Provides the following medical training programs at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology: internship specialty "5В130100-General Medicine", educational residency program 7R01102-"Obstetrics and Gynecology for adults and children". Practical classes are conducted using interactive teaching methods: theoretical analysis of material with a teacher, clinical analysis of patients, group discussions, heuristic conversation, trainings, elements of problem-oriented learning are used.
