On September 11, Astana hosted the XXI scientific and practical conference "Pediatrics today: revision of standards and new opportunities", dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Department of pediatric diseases. The event was organized by the Association of Pediatricians of Astana together with the NAO "Astana Medical University" with the support of the Ministry of health of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 

 The conference was attended by the head of the Department "Pediatrics" of the Faculty of Postgraduate Medical Education of the International Kazakh-Turkish university named after Khoja Ahmed Yasawi, candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Tokbergenova S. M. and associate professor Kalmenova P. E. and teacher Kilyshbekova G. N. The forum was also attended by leading experts from Turkey, Russia and Uzbekistan.

At the conference, topical issues of respiratory pathology in Pediatrics, prevention of children's infections, functional and organic problems of the gastrointestinal tract in children.
