The department responsible for training specialists in art, design, and technology education defines its main duties in the following areas:
1. Educational and Methodological Support
Providing high-quality scientific and methodological training for future teachers in art education, decorative-applied arts, design, and art history. Integrating innovative teaching methods (project-based learning, STEAM, art pedagogy) into the educational process. Developing curricula, author courses, and methodological resources in the field of artistic and aesthetic education.
2. Scientific and Research Activities
Conducting research on national and world art history, ethnocultural heritage, folk crafts and regional art studies. Implementing research results into the educational process; preparing scientific articles, textbooks, and academic projects. Engaging students and young researchers in scientific work; organizing research clubs and expeditions.

Developing students’ creative thinking, aesthetic taste, and culture based on national spiritual values.
Organizing ethnographic and local history expeditions, creative exhibitions, and masterclasses.
