Surgical Diseases

The Department of "surgical diseases" of the Faculty of Medicine of the international Kazakh-Turkish university named after Khoja Ahmed Yasawi was first opened in 1993 on the basis of the "Kentau City Central Hospital" in Kentau, Turkestan region. The first head of the department was Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor M. M. Akhmetov, appointed in 1993 and headed until 1995.
Since the creation of the department until this morning, 7 candidate dissertations, 2 doctoral dissertations, 6 master's theses have been defended.
At the same time, the teaching staff of the department, in accordance with the plan and unscheduled, improves their skills in foreign countries and republican institutions. In addition, as a result of his official work, he received awards at the international, national, regional and university levels with badges, letters of thanks.
