Human Morphology and Physiology

“The Department of Human Morphology and Physiology was opened as the Department of Normal and Topographic Anatomy and Operative Surgery at the founding of Turkestan University in 1991. Tusipbekova B.Sh., Ph.D., Associate Professor, was appointed the first head of the department. Among the teachers and professors of the department are Master of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Sakimbaev E.R., Professor of the Almaty Medical Institute A.R. The lectures were given by Rakyshev.

The main objective of the department is training of competitive specialists capable of providing primary and highly specialized continuous medical care to the population, acquiring knowledge, experience and scientific innovations in the field of healthcare.
