Mission:
The mission of the Department of Special Clinical Disciplines is to provide General Medicine students with comprehensive, evidence-based, and internationally aligned medical education. The department aims to develop students’ clinical reasoning, diagnostic and therapeutic decision-making skills, and their ability to deliver patient-centered, ethical, and high-quality healthcare. Furthermore, the department promotes scientific inquiry, encourages innovation, supports research competence, and fosters the development of professional, responsible, and competent physicians capable of meeting modern healthcare challenges.
Strategic Vision
To be a department that provides high-quality education in specialized clinical disciplines in accordance with national and international standards, based on evidence-based medicine; trains physicians with strong clinical reasoning and high professional and ethical competence; promotes innovation and scientific research; and serves as a guiding academic center for the Turkic world.
Duties:
- Deliver in-depth, systematic, and high-quality instruction in clinical subjects;
- Develop students’ abilities to assess, interpret, and manage clinical cases effectively;
- Strengthen decision-making skills based on the principles of evidence-based medicine;
- Enhance practical clinical competencies through simulation centers and real clinical settings;
- Promote professional ethics, communication skills, and teamwork in multidisciplinary environments;
- Support student involvement in scientific research, academic projects, and medical conferences;
- Integrate modern educational technologies, digital tools, and innovative teaching methods into the curriculum;
- Prepare highly qualified and competitive general practitioners ready for independent clinical practice.
