Since September 2024, systematic work has been carried out to modernize the material and technical base of the Simulation Center and improve the educational process.
The infrastructure of the center’s classrooms and simulation stations has been renovated, and all furniture, desks, and staff chairs have been completely replaced. In addition, the center has been equipped with modern monoblocks, computer equipment, televisions, LED screens, cameras, microphones, and headphones. Virtual reception rooms for students and instructors have also been upgraded, and 10 air conditioners were installed to enhance the comfort of the educational environment.
In order to introduce international experience in simulation-based education, exchange programs were conducted within the framework of academic mobility at the simulation centers of Acıbadem University, Ankara University, and Lokman Hekim University in Istanbul and Ankara, Republic of Türkiye. Furthermore, experience-sharing visits were organized to the simulation center of Tashkent State Medical University, as well as to Astana Medical University and Karaganda Medical University.
On April 16–17, 2026, representatives of the center participated in the international scientific and practical congress titled “Multidisciplinary Approaches in Medicine: Integration of Clinical Practice, Science, and Education,” held in Karaganda, as well as in the First Congress of the Eurasian Society for Simulation in Medicine. During the event, a presentation entitled “The Impact of Simulation-Based Learning on the Academic Performance of Medical Students” was delivered, and special certificates were awarded.
For the successful work accomplished, the head of the center, Yerbol Nurillayevich Tulezhanov, was awarded a Letter of Appreciation from the Rector of the University.
Currently, with the support of the university administration, proposals are being developed to expand the Simulation Center to an inpatient-level facility, modernize its internal structure, and fully renew simulators, mannequins, phantoms, medical equipment, and consumable materials.
