General Subjects Department

In accordance with Resolution No. 9 of the 78th meeting of the Authorized Council for General Subjects for the 2024–2025 academic year, and with the aim of improving the quality of education of students of the Preparatory Center — ethnic Kazakhs who are not citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan (KB), as well as students enrolled in the program aimed at improving their language proficiency (KG), the “General Subjects” Department was established within the Preparatory Center on April 1, 2025. The staffing structure was approved, and employees were transferred from the “English Language” Department in accordance with paragraphs 1 and 2 of Article 45 of the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Since May 1, 2025, the “General Subjects” Department has been headed by Master’s degree holder and lecturer L. T. Alimbekova.

The main objectives of the Department are to provide education to ethnic Kazakhs who are not citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as students enrolled in the program aimed at improving their language proficiency, based on the State Compulsory Standard of General Secondary Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and to prepare them for the Unified National Testing (UNT).

In the 2026–2027 academic year, the Department consists of 3 senior lecturers, 9 lecturers holding a Master’s degree, 3 lecturers, and 1 laboratory assistant.
