Department of Kazakh and Russian Languages

The department was established on September 1, 2003, initially known as the Department of Kazakh, Russian, and English languages. In September 2006, it underwent a name change to become the Department of the Kazakh language. Its primary objectives include advancing the proficiency of Kazakh, English, and Russian among international students in preparation for their future endeavors.

From its inception until the academic year of 2018, the department was overseen by a succession of heads: B.Ashikbayeva, Sh.Karsybekova, Z.Apsemet, E.Adilbekova, I.Ordueri, and J.Suyunzhanova.
Since the 2018-2019 academic year, Dr. A.Myrzakhanova has been leading the Department of Kazakh and Russian languages. 

As of the 2023-2024 academic year, the department comprises 1 Doctor of Sciences, 2 candidates of Sciences, 5 senior teachers, 6 master's degree holders, 3 teachers, and 1 laboratory assistant.
