To obtain a patent for an invention or utility model, an application must be submitted to the National Institute of Intellectual Property under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan. According to the Patent Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a patent application must include:

These courses aim to enhance doctors’ professional competence, deepen their knowledge in a specific medical field, and develop practical skills. They focus solely on one specialty without affecting related fields, ensuring improved efficiency in medical practice.
To enroll in a professional development course, the following documents are required:
• A document confirming postgraduate professional education (completion of an internship or residency);
• If available – a professional retraining certificate (for specialists with higher medical education);
• If available – a specialist certificate;
• If available – a previous professional development certificate.
The certificate is valid for 5 years. After this period, the doctor must undergo another professional development course.
According to legislation, medical professionals must complete a professional development course every 5 years to continue their professional practice.
