Duties:

• Comply with the requirements of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the norms of the current legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other regulatory documents;
  exercise control over the protection of protected objects and the protection of property and assets
• Take all measures to prevent unauthorized persons from unhindered access to university premises and buildings outside working hours;
• Round-the-clock localizations and timely response to all incidents of a criminal nature on the territory of AYU and educational buildings in order to minimize damage;
• promptly inform the leadership of the AYU about every crime or criminal act committed;
• Timely provision of information necessary for making urgent decisions;
• Monitoring and vetting of security guards protecting University facilities;
• Implementation of the state of technical equipment of the protected facilities, timely informing the management of the AYU about all malfunctions in order to eliminate them.Monitoring the operation of video surveillance systems on the territory and premises of the University, the procedure for entering auxiliary facilities;
• Monitoring the procedure of entry of persons into the territory of the AYU, administrative and educational buildings and other auxiliary premises of the AYU;
• control of the entry of road transport into the territory of the AYU;
• makes proposals to the management of the AYU to improve the work related to its activities;
• for the implementation of preventive and other measures to identify persons prone to committing antisocial activities, other crimes and offenses, carrying out activities aimed at spreading radical-extremist ideology among faculty members and students;
• organization and execution of preventive measures aimed at eliminating the causes and conditions contributing to official and other crimes by faculty, staff and students of the AYU;
• to carry out studies to establish the facts of economic crimes in the field of public procurement and other economic activities of the AYU and the facts of possible corruption by employees of the AYU;
• participation in the purchase of logistical and technical means, if necessary;
• Participation in the activities carried out by the AYU together with the law enforcement agencies of the city of Turkestan to maintain law and order;
• consideration of letters, complaints and appeals of natural and legal persons, teaching staff, staff and students of IT services on issues falling within the competence of the Department;
• assisting the human resources management department in the development of interventions aimed at improving the expansion and selection of candidates for the work of the AYU;
• carrying out service inspections within the scope of its competence by order of the Rector of AYU, obtaining explanations, obtaining the necessary documents, producing copies of them to participate in the inspection materials, requesting the necessary information. Carried out in other state institutions with the permission of the Rector of AYU;
• As part of the official audit inspection, inviting faculty, staff and students of the AYU to the survey and receiving explanations regarding the internal security of the AYU;
  make recommendations to the AYU management on the results of the service audit;
• Conduct training sessions with faculty and AYU staff on compliance with service discipline, occupational safety and civil protection measures.
