Our Services

1.To oversee the production of all scientific journals published by the university. This includes organizing editorial boards, engaging high-profile authors, reviewing article submissions for compliance with technical requirements, forwarding articles to the scientific editor, managing the peer review process, maintaining journal websites, and assigning Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs): to edit, publish, and uploads materials from university conferences, selected articles for the traditional "Young Scientist" collection, and summaries of student conferences to the website.

2.To monitor the activities of editorial offices for university scientific journals and oversee the progress of monographs and educational publications.

3.To work on the development and enhancement of the university’s scientific publications, along with organizing key events such as seminars with partners like Clarivate Analytics, Springer, and Scopus.

4.To administrate tasks, including managing the editorial board’s composition, documenting board meetings, and issuing orders, are handled by the department.

5.To ensure that published journal issues are regularly sent in three formats (Word, PDF, and Excel) via email to the “National State Scientific and Technical Expertise Center” JSC (“UMSTSO” JSC).

6.To facilitate collaboration between university scientific journals and various structural units, such as the printing house and library.

7.To collaborate with the editorial teams of scientific journals to bring them in line with international standards.

8.To explore new areas of science for the establishment of additional scientific publications at the university actively.

9.To ensure the regular publication of university journals.

10.To review manuscripts for stylistic, grammatical, and technical errors.

11.To check scientific papers that have undergone evaluation through plagiarism detection software such as “Antiplagiat” and “StrikePlagiarism”, as well as those that have received positive assessments through blind peer reviews and have been approved by the editorial board, are prepared for reproduction at the printing press.

12.To enhance the quality of peer review through the development of blind peer review processes, regular communication with authors and reviewers, and the formation of a reviewer base.

13.To provide methodological support to university faculty and staff engaged in scientific publishing activities, including conducting methodical seminars and training sessions in its field of expertise.

14.To distribute publications issued by the Scientific Publications Department to relevant institutions, including the Book Chamber and National Library, to ensure widespread dissemination.

15.To maintain the university’s scientific publications website, overseeing interactions among editors, authors, and reviewers.

16.To develop and update the structure and content of the website of scientific publications.

17.To enrich the archive of the university’s scientific publications, emphasizing electronic publication methods.
