About us

The service area for specialists of the electrical installations and networks repair department on the campus and intracity educational buildings and economic facilities adjacent to the university includes: 7 educational buildings, 5 student dormitories, 3 family dormitories, Magzhan campus, Information Resource Center (library), Cultural center, outdoor sports grounds, botanical garden, parking for vehicles (garage), central canteen, reservoir, fuel storage, water intakes (well), sewage pumping station, heating boilers, street electric lighting and transformer stations (substations), air and underground electric high voltage networks 10 kV. The number of personnel serving electrical installations and power networks includes 13 full-time electricians.

Responsibilities And Functions Of The Specialists Of The Department:

  • Performing scheduled repairs of all electrical installations, networks located in educational buildings and business facilities.
  • Detection and repair of a disconnected electrical network in an emergency and transmission of electrical energy.
  • Replacing burnt-out street lighting lamps and ensuring uninterrupted lighting at night.
  • Repair of high voltage electrical networks and pruning of branches that interfere with electrical networks.
  • Carrying out scheduled repairs and oil change in transformers.
  • Performing work to replace burned-out electric lamps, sockets, switches, automatic machines and other electrical installations in all electrical systems during the current, major repairs of educational buildings and dormitories.
  • Detection and repair of underground electrical networks of high and low voltage.
  • Implementation of night duty during the winter heating season in heating boilers, educational buildings and dormitories.
