Building 3, Room 217, 12:30 PM “Students Were Informed About the Dangers of the Nipah Virus and Preventive Measures”
Today, an educational meeting on the prevention of infectious diseases was held for second-year students at the Faculty of Education and Humanities Research. The event was organized by experienced nurses from the university outpatient clinic.
During the meeting, specialists provided students with comprehensive information about one of the most dangerous viruses today — the Nipah virus. In particular, they explained the routes of transmission to humans, the severity and danger of the disease, as well as its clinical symptoms. According to the nurses, the Nipah virus can be transmitted to humans through several routes and may lead to serious complications if preventive measures are not taken in a timely manner.
Special attention was also given to preventive measures. Students were advised to maintain personal hygiene, exercise caution in potentially high-risk areas, and seek medical assistance promptly if symptoms of infectious diseases appear. The importance of strictly observing safety measures to prevent the spread of the virus was emphasized.
At the end of the meeting, students asked questions of interest and received clear and useful answers. It was noted that such meetings play an important role in increasing young people’s sense of responsibility for their health and in preventing infectious diseases.
