Goal of the Faculty

The main goal of the Faculty of Education and Humanities is to train competitive professionals who possess a high level of professional competence, well-developed research and critical thinking skills, effectively use digital technologies, respect national and universal human values, and meet the modern requirements of the labour market and education system.

The Faculty aims to ensure continuity between education and research, develop innovative teaching methods, expand international cooperation and academic mobility, contribute to the implementation of the University’s strategic development priorities, and promote the advancement of education and science.

Objectives of the Faculty

• Improving the quality of education – enhancing educational programmes in accordance with modern requirements, professional standards, and labour market needs, and providing students with high-quality education.
• Training competitive professionals – preparing qualified specialists in preschool and primary education, pedagogy and psychology, and history, with strong professional knowledge and practical skills.
• Ensuring the integration of education and practice – combining theoretical knowledge with practical training and making effective use of professional internships and dual education opportunities.
• Developing research activities – increasing the participation of academic staff and students in research activities and supporting research projects, publications, and research initiatives.
• Developing an innovative and digital educational environment – systematically introducing modern educational technologies, digital resources, and innovative teaching methods into the educational process.
• Expanding academic mobility and international cooperation – strengthening scientific and educational links with higher education institutions in Kazakhstan and abroad and creating opportunities for students and academic staff to participate in academic mobility programmes.
• Enhancing the professional potential of academic staff – supporting the professional development of lecturers, enhancing their research and methodological competencies, and facilitating the integration of best practices into the educational process.
• Creating conditions for the personal and professional development of students – supporting their creative, research, and social initiatives while developing leadership skills, responsibility, and professional culture.
• Promoting national and universal human values – fostering students’ historical consciousness, civic responsibility, patriotism, academic integrity, and intercultural communication skills.
• Strengthening engagement with graduates and employers – taking employers’ recommendations into account when improving educational programmes and supporting graduates’ professional development and employability in the labour market.
