About Us

       The Faculty of Education and Humanities is dedicated to training highly qualified and competitive professionals in accordance with contemporary requirements in the fields of preschool and primary education, pedagogy and psychology, and history, while ensuring close integration between education and research.

The main goal of the Faculty is to educate professionals with a high level of professional competence, well-developed scientific thinking, openness to innovation, and respect for national and universal human values, in line with contemporary educational requirements. Modern pedagogical technologies, innovative teaching methods, and digital educational resources are widely used in the learning process, with particular emphasis placed on integrating theoretical knowledge with practical experience.

The Faculty offers degree programmes at the Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD levels.

The main departments responsible for academic programmes within the Faculty are:

• Department of Preschool and Primary Education;
• Department of Pedagogy and Psychology;
• Department of History.

The departments ensure the effective implementation of academic programmes and systematically carry out educational, methodological, research, and student development activities. Particular attention is given to developing students’ professional competencies, supporting their research and creative initiatives, and creating favourable conditions for their professional growth.

Currently, 669 students are enrolled in 15 academic programmes at the Faculty. In addition to citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Faculty welcomes international students from Türkiye, China, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Russia, Uzbekistan, and Afghanistan. This multicultural educational environment promotes intercultural communication and broadens students’ perspectives.

The Faculty has strong academic and research potential. Its academic staff includes 3 professors, 18 Candidates of Sciences, 18 PhD holders, 15 lecturers with Master’s degrees, 4 lecturers, and 4 practitioners. Faculty members and students actively participate in academic conferences, seminars, round-table discussions, and research projects.

The Faculty places particular emphasis on research activities, academic mobility, and international cooperation. To create favourable conditions for students’ professional and personal development, the Faculty provides modern classrooms, a library, internet-equipped classrooms, and essential educational resources. In addition, the University’s sports complex, student cafeteria, and dormitories contribute to meeting students’ social and cultural needs.
