Students
The Preparatory Center was established on the basis of decision No. 1/447 of 06.10.1997. Since the establishment of this structural unit, students from Kazakhstan, Turkey and other Turkic countries have been studying Turkish, Kazakh, Russian and English according to the system of training courses. Students take only language training for two semesters. Students are divided into groups in which they learn two languages. Upon completion of language training, they transfer to faculties where training in the specialty is conducted in 4 languages.
The students of the Preparatory Center are divided into 4 groups. The first group is representatives of the Turkish quota (TC): These are citizens of Kazakhstan who have received the right to study and receive a scholarship from the Republic of Turkey. At the end of the year, students who have mastered the languages have the opportunity to continue their studies and receive a scholarship appointed by the Turkish side. The second group is representatives of the Turkic world (TM): these students come from various Turkic countries and regions, study and receive a scholarship from the Republic of Kazakhstan. The contingent allocated to this group is 200 people. The third group consists of students from the Republic of Turkey (TR), who also receive a scholarship allocated by the Kazakh side during their studies. The fourth group consists of students of Kazakh nationality who are not citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan. During the school year, these students prepare for the UNT.
