Dean's Message

Dear Students,

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to a new academic year at the Faculty of Economics and Management of Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University.

University education is not only about acquiring a profession; it is also an important stage of personal development, discovering one’s potential, and shaping one’s future. Therefore, the primary mission of our Faculty is to educate competitive professionals who possess strong professional knowledge, a high sense of responsibility, critical and strategic thinking skills, initiative, a research-oriented mindset, and the ability to adapt to change.

Today’s rapidly changing world is creating new expectations in the labour market. Advances in digital technologies and artificial intelligence, together with the transformation of economic and managerial processes, require professionals not only to possess theoretical knowledge but also to apply it in practice, work effectively with data, make informed decisions, collaborate in teams, and continuously develop their competencies. Accordingly, our Faculty places particular emphasis on continuously improving its educational programmes and integrating education, research, and practice.

We regard every student as an active participant in the educational process. I therefore encourage you to go beyond the classroom and actively engage in research projects, academic mobility programmes, international initiatives, student organisations, and community projects.

At our Faculty, we are firmly committed to the principles of openness, academic integrity, mutual respect, responsibility, and partnership. We believe that trust and open academic dialogue between students and faculty members provide the foundation for high-quality education and innovative ideas.

The international mission of Khoja Akhmet Yassawi University places a special responsibility upon us. By strengthening the educational and scientific bridge between Kazakhstan and Türkiye, we aim to prepare knowledgeable, competent, and responsible graduates who are capable of contributing to Kazakhstan, the broader Turkic world, and the international community.
