Training of qualified specialists who are able to apply their professional knowledge in practice in the field of Islamic studies, capable of solving religious problems in society, having the skills of independent research and continuing further education
The concept of the educational program is based on the principle of preparation of highly qualified competitive specialists aimed at solving the scientific and practical tasks of the state program Spiritual modernization in order to accelerate the spiritual modernization of the Republic of Kazakhstan and increase the religious literacy of the population through the use of religious resources.

  • Uses professional knowledge to solve the problems of religion in society, mastering the stages of formation and development of Islamic sciences, basic theories and methods.
  • Demonstrates basic theoretical knowledge in reading, interpreting and applying Islamic religious texts.
  • Formulates the connections and features of religious schools and modern trends in the history of Islam. 
     
  • For applicants entering the educational program 6B02266-Islamic Studies, the applicant must have a general secondary (complete) education or a secondary specialized vocational education who has passed the NUT and a final score with a minimum score and successful passing of creative exams. Applicants from abroad are accepted through an interview on condition of studying on a paid basis (for mastering language training and a mandatory level of education), (Model rules for admission to study in educational organizations implementing educational programs of higher and postgraduate education No. 600 dated 31.10. 2018).
  • The Bachelor of Science in the educational program Islamic Studies was prepared for religious associations and organizations of social development, Islamic educational institutions and the sphere of religious activity.

  • Public organizations and others.
