Dean's Message

The Faculty of Postgraduate Medical Education has a high reputation in the field of postgraduate medical education, its traditions, both in the provision of educational services and in the development of medical science and clinical activities

On August 15, 2018, the University Senate decided to reorganize the Faculty of Postgraduate Education into the Faculty of Postgraduate Medical Education. The faculty is located on the Shymkent campus of the University named after H.A. Yasawi.

It should be noted that not only the name and status of the faculty has changed, but also the number of educational residency programs being implemented has increased, and active work is underway to introduce innovative technologies into the educational process. The clinical bases of the University are large state and leading private medical institutions in Shymkent and the Turkestan region. In addition, students have the opportunity to study and undergo clinical practice in large scientific medical centers of Kazakhstan, as well as in medical organizations in other regions. A competitive advantage is the opportunity to train and train interns, residents and teaching staff in university clinics in Turkey, including within the framework of academic mobility.

The faculty trains interns and residents not only from Kazakhstan, but also representatives of all Turkic-speaking countries. The faculty regularly conducts additional clinical discussions, scientific and practical conferences, master classes and training seminars. The faculty creates conditions for further participation of students in scientific research and admission to PhD doctoral studies.

University graduates successfully work in all regions of Kazakhstan, near and far abroad, among them are prominent scientists, managers and practicing doctors.
