Office of additional and non-formal education

The Office of Supplementary and Non-Formal Education at the Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University organizes and coordinates healthcare education programs aimed at the professional development of medical and pharmaceutical personnel, the enhancement of their professional competencies, and the mastery of modern healthcare methods and technologies.

Objective: To ensure the organization and development of continuing professional education in the healthcare sector, aimed at enhancing the qualifications of medical and pharmaceutical personnel, improving their professional competencies, implementing modern medical technologies, and raising the quality of medical care delivery in accordance with the regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Key tasks for achieving the set goals:

1.        Organization of the educational process — planning and coordination of supplementary and non-formal education programs in the healthcare sector, taking into account the industry's current needs.

2.        Enhancement of professional competence — organizing professional development courses, internships, seminars, training sessions, master classes, and other educational activities for medical and pharmaceutical professionals.

3.        Ensuring regulatory compliance — organizing educational activities in accordance with the current legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the requirements applicable to the supplementary and non-formal education of healthcare professionals.

4.        Development and updating of educational programs — enhancing the curriculum by incorporating modern advances in medical science, clinical practice, and the professional needs of learners.

5.        Implementation of innovative educational technologies — developing in-person, distance, and blended learning formats, and utilizing interactive methods and digital educational resources.

6.        Development of practical skills — fostering the formation and enhancement of professional competencies through practice-oriented training, simulation technologies, and clinical internships, subject to the availability of appropriate conditions.

7.        Interaction with healthcare organizations — developing cooperation with medical organizations, educational institutions, and relevant specialists to identify priority areas for professional training.

8.        Advancement of continuing professional development — fostering a culture of continuous updating of knowledge and skills among medical and pharmaceutical professionals in accordance with modern healthcare requirements.
