Department of Strategic Development and Quality Management

The Department of Strategic Development and Quality Management was established by a decision of the Senate dated August 27, 2025, Order No. 1/1477 of September 2, 2025.

The purpose of establishing the Department is to define strategic directions for development and to develop development plans for the Faculty of Postgraduate Medical Education, to ensure its sustainable development, to maintain the functioning of the quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001:2015, and to improve the quality of internal processes.

Main areas of activity of the Department of Strategic Development and Quality Management:

Development and updating of the Faculty’s Strategic Plan and Action Plan;

Analysis of the internal and external environment (SWOT, PEST, risk map);

Preparation of innovative projects and monitoring of their implementation;

Analysis of reports from structural divisions on the implementation of the Faculty’s Strategic Plan and Action Plan (activity plans), making amendments and adjustments, and preparation of the final annual report at the Faculty level;

Planning quality objectives of the Faculty and its subordinate structural divisions, phased monitoring and expert evaluation of their implementation;

Monitoring the relevance and validity of quality management system documentation in accordance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2015;

Development and updating of quality management system documentation, and provision of advisory and methodological support;

Organization and conduct of internal audits in structural divisions and departments of the Faculty in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, and analysis of audit results;

Development of corrective and preventive actions;

Development of corrective action plans for nonconformities identified during internal QMS audits, and maintenance of corrective action logs;

Organization and conduct of staff appraisal (certification) of Faculty employees.
