Establishment and Development
2004 · October
The Faculty of Engineering at Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University was established in October 2004 by a decision of the Board of Trustees as the “Faculty of Information Technology and Engineering”.
The establishment of the faculty laid the foundation for training qualified specialists to meet the needs of the information technology and engineering sectors.
2014–2015 Academic Year
By a decision of the University Senate, the faculty was renamed the “Faculty of Engineering” beginning with the 2014–2015 academic year.

DEAN OF THE FACULTY
Since September 1, 2026, the position of Dean of the Faculty has been held by Gulnur Nagimetovna Kazbekova, Candidate of Technical Sciences and Associate Professor.
Education and Faculty Structure
The faculty continues to train specialists at the bachelor's, master's, and doctoral levels, with a focus on advancing engineering education and scientific research.
The faculty's current structure includes the Department of Computer Engineering and the Department of Electrical Engineering.
These departments offer academic programs in information and communication technologies and engineering.

As the faculty develops, the range of fields in which it trains specialists continues to expand.
2024–2025 Academic Year
“Mechanical Engineering”
A new academic program was launched.
2025–2026 Academic Year
“Artificial Intelligence and Data Analysis”
A new academic program was launched.
Today, the faculty continues to train specialists who meet the needs of society and industry by combining technical education with scientific research and practical training.
