One of the main goals of the institute is to obtain environmentally friendly natural agricultural products and introduce “green eco-technologies” into production. Currently, the Institute's staff is carrying out research work on 2 state grants, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Science Foundation. Business agreements have been concluded with SKZ-U LLP, which produces sulfuric acid for Kazatomprom enterprises (Kyzylorda region, Zhanakorgan), as well as several business agreements and memoranda with organizations of the Turkestan region. For example, with the Yasavi Clinical Diagnostic Center and other medical institutions for the disposal of medical waste and for the analysis of drinking water, for determining the level of radiation; with the akimats of rural districts and the city of Kentau for monitoring landfills and their effects on the condition of adjacent agricultural lands, on the state of air, vegetation, surface and groundwater, on biological resources, including the health of residents.
